Assured Aquatics Policies
Assured Aquatics' SwimSpa @182 W. Magnolia Street, Clermont, FL:
All lessons are individual and private. Please respect other students by arriving no earlier than 5 minutes prior to your swim time.
Park on street and follow the wheelchair-accessible sidewalk to the swim spa gate entrance.
Family members and siblings are welcome at your lessons. Parents retain responsibility for the safe conduct of their children on the deck. All attendees agree to follow posted facility rules.
Photos and videos of your student's lessons are permitted and encouraged. Students love seeing their work and have better skill retention when reviewing their in-water practice! Assured Aquatics retains the right to photograph on-site lessons for marketing purposes. Students (and their legal guardians) agree to the publication of such photographs on this website and social media.
Home or Community Pool:
Must have clear water, be free of debris and mold. Deck area must be safe. Pool owner (or HOA in the case of a community pool) must be willing to sign consent for pool usage. Assured Aquatics reserves the right to test water quality.
Infants/Toddlers:
Swim diapers must be worn during lessons. **If swimming at Assured Aquatics' facility, fabric swim diapers are preferred over disposable. The fibers in disposable swim diapers can shed and cause filter clogging.
Illness:
Please cancel your lesson if your student has an eye infection, diarrhea or vomiting within 24 hours prior to lesson, or fever. **For more detail, see Covid-19/Infectious Disease tab.
Inclement weather:
We swim in the rain, but NOT LIGHTENING! Text ahead (once you are a confirmed client, you will be provided with my cell number) if you have any doubts about the weather. I monitor a lightening app and will cancel lessons if lightening is within a 10 mile radius. I will make every effort to call/text you if we have to cancel.
Sunscreen:
Parents, please do not put sunscreen on your child's body (arms & legs); on the face is fine. If you want to guard against the sun, have your child wear a rash guard shirt in the water. Sunscreen makes your child slippery in the water and it is very important that I be able to maintain a safe hold on your child.
Medical Conditions:
Some medical conditions may require physician release before Assured Aquatics will accept student. Please advise of all existing conditions when registering, and every effort will be made to adapt lessons accordingly.
Financial Policy:
Payment for lessons is due in full monthly, by the first lesson of the month. Payment may be made online through the invoice link, or in person by cash or check. Due to an increase in payment processing fees, Assured Aquatics is no longer able to accept lesson-by-lesson payment.
Cancellation Policy:
Any lesson cancelled by Assured Aquatics will have a make-up lesson scheduled or, if not possible, will be refunded. Lessons cancelled by clients are non-refundable. Make-up lessons for client cancellations will be determined at the discretion of Assured Aquatics LLC, and based upon schedule availability.
