I am a Native Floridian who grew up on the Atlantic coast beaches. After completing the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification, I founded Assured Aquatics in 2015. I went on to  become adaptive swim certified through the Dan Marino Foundation/Nicklaus Children's Hospital in 2018, and have served as the Director of Adaptive Aquatics with the Central Florida Dreamplex since 2021. My happy place is being in and around water, so sharing that joy through teaching confidence and water safety skills to others was just a natural progression. Being a parent of a child on the autism spectrum added the motivation to focus on differently-abled students and really hone the safety aspect. My favorite moments are when I see a fearful student realize that they actually enjoy the water, or a student who thought swimming was never something they could do find that they are capable - or maybe even exceptional! Each of my students is a unique individual, and getting to know them as we work together is a blessing. I look forward to getting to know YOU!
